Welcome to Bell School!
Alexander Graham Bell School is a Chicago Public School located on the north side of Chicago. The school was dedicated in 1917 by Alexander Graham Bell. His dream was to establish a grammar school where hearing-impaired children could attend school with their hearing peers. Today, Bell School educates just under 1,000 diverse learners in three departments: Neighborhood, Deaf, and Options. The Bell School Regional Gifted Center (Options Department) provides classes for approximately 270 students in Kindergarten through eighth grade. Over one hundred years after its dedication, Bell School continues to fulfill the inclusive dream of its founder.
